Based in Copenhagen, the studio blurs the lines between function and sculpture, creating pieces that feel just as at home on a shelf as they do in daily use. Bjorn Lie’s work blends humor, surrealism, and natural wonder in richly detailed illustrations that feel both playful and precise. Drawing from Nordic folklore and the natural world, his images invite the viewer into strange yet familiar realms. We’re proud to feature Swiss photographer Samuel Zeller and his celebrated series,Botanical, a longtime source of inspiration for Calienna. Captured in historic greenhouses across Europe, the images evoke a sense of stillness, where soft light, glass, and foliage blur into painterly compositions.
Inspired by a chance visit to Geneva’s Conservatory, Zeller’s work marries structure and softness, offering quiet meditations on nature, architecture, and attention. Each image feels like a portal, reminding us that beauty is always there, waiting to be seen. -
